  • Woodworking Assistant/Delivery Driver

    Location: Waterloo, Nebraska

    Position Type: Full-Time; 8 AM - 4 PM with rotating weekend schedule. M-F, Tue-Sat; Occasional late night/Sunday shifts with incentive pay - typically on Friday and Saturday nights from 11:00 PM - 1:00 AM or Sunday from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a dedicated Woodworking Assistant/Delivery Driver to join our team. In this dual role, you will assist in the production and maintenance of our rental items and be responsible for delivering these items to our clients' events. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for woodworking/painting and customer service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Woodworking Assistance:

    - Assist in the fabrication, assembly, and finishing of furniture and decor items, both custom wood pieces and purchased furniture.

    - Help maintain and organize the warehouse and woodshop, ensuring materials are stored properly.

    - Collaborate with the sales team to meet production deadlines and quality standards.

    - Perform routine maintenance on rental pieces (repainting, repairing scratches/dents, tightening furniture, etc) to ensure an efficient operation.

    Delivery Driver:

    - Safely transport rental items to various event locations across Omaha and surrounding areas.

    - Load and unload items from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

    - Set up lounge areas, bars, dance floors, chairs, tables and other installations at event sites according to client specifications.

    - Communicate with logistics team regarding delivery schedules and any special requests for each individual event.

    - Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, setting up items as needed and addressing any client inquiries.

    - Remove items after the event is over, ensuring all equipment is accounted for and returned to the warehouse in good condition.

    - Unloading trucks after events ensuring all items are returned and indicating any items that need repaired/reordered/maintenanced.

    Requirements:

    - High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in woodworking is a plus.

    - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

    - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) and perform physical tasks associated with delivery and setup.

    - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    - Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends evening and nights.

  • POSITION OVERVIEW:

    We are looking for an organizational guru to enhance our warehouse operations!

    This is for the person that creates order amidst the chaos! A positive attitude, enthusiasm, ability to correct and provide feedback and willingness to get a little dirty are a must for this position. You are the go-to person for all warehouse operations questions and will learn the ins and outs of our inventory and event process!

    A BIT MORE ABOUT THE ROLE:

    This person must have reliable transportation to our warehouse in Waterloo, NE. Typical hours for this position are 8:00-4:00, Monday-Friday. This position is full-time and works closely with our both our logistics team and our part time warehouse associates to ensure all warehouse operations are running smoothly.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Loading/unloading items from box trucks and trailers

    • Delivering and picking up orders from the weekend events in a 26' box truck

    • Tagging dirty or broken items as they are unloaded

    • Cleaning and restocking event chairs, lounge, dance floor, backdrops/freestanding walls, etc

    • Notifying Inventory Manager about inventory changes/damaged items

    • Pulling orders with appropriate labeling system and loading onto trucks for upcoming events

    • Restocking packing materials and ensuring work space and warehouse is clean and tidy for weekly sales walkthroughs

  • POSITION OVERVIEW:

    This is a great role for someone who is looking for flexible, day-time work and enjoys creating order amongst the chaos! A positive attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to get a little dirty are a must for this position.

    A BIT MORE ABOUT THE ROLE:

    This person must have reliable transportation to our warehouse in Waterloo, NE. Typical hours for this position are 8:00-4:00, though flexibility in hours is an option. This position is part time, approximately 10-15 hours per week, with the potential for upward movement within the company.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Loading/unloading items from recent events

    • Cleaning dishes, flatware, votives/candle centerpieces, rugs and furniture

    • Tagging dirty or broken items as they are unloaded

    • Restocking items on shelves after they have been cleaned

    • Notifying team members about inventory changes/damaged items

    • Packing orders with appropriate labeling system

    • Restocking packing materials and ensuring work space is tidy

    Pay: From $17/hour

  • We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and professional Event Delivery Team Members to assist with the loading, set-up, delivery, and restocking of furniture for weddings and luxury events in the Omaha area. If you're hard-working, punctual, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you!

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Load, transport, and set up/tear down/move furniture including tables, chairs, bars, dance floors, tabletop and other event essentials for weddings and events.

    • Ensure all furniture and decor is delivered and set up according to client specifications with attention to detail.

    • Occasionally assist with restocking or additional tasks as needed.

    • Maintain professionalism while interacting with clients and event coordinators on-site.

    Job Requirements:

    • Reliable transportation to work and the ability to easily lift 75+ lbs.

    • A positive attitude and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

    • Professionalism is a must! You’ll be representing our luxury furniture rental company at every event.

    • Availability to work on Saturdays and Sundays, with shifts that may include early mornings and late nights.

    • Ability to work long hours, with flexibility to adjust to event schedules.
